So today was a stressful day for me. Work was rather demanding and I felt a little bit like I was treading water and was very tired from treading. But, I had a run in with Celine Dion today and that was special. Then I saw her telling her body guard she wanted a Blue Raspberry Glacier. So her body came to me and ordered 3 of them. He was very friendly and it was an exciting experience for me! Then once we were closed we got to do a meet and greet between the Circus staff and the neighbors. My neighbors at work are Minnie Mouse, Daisy Duck, Donald Duck and Goofy! So all the stress I went through was deff worth it because of how my day ended. My crazy 64 hour work week with only one day off is finally over!
It is starting to set in that my time here is running out and that in only a few short weeks some of the lovely friends I have made here will be departing. I am trying to keep those thoughts at bay. It is hard to think about leaving this all behind. It took so long for me to adjust and I know it is going to take a while to adjust to my life after I leave the Circus. I had never thought that I would run away with the circus. But now I want to run away with my cirkies and keep this magic going. So I have 6 weeks left and I plan on enjoying all of it!

Tick Tock Croc
I realize it has been ages since I last posted. And for that I apologize. Time is definitely a gift here and it is most certainly fleeting. I wake up each afternoon get ready for work, head to work, come home, sleep and then repeat. I have done lots of exciting things as well though. Girls days getting pedicures and lunch. Other days have been spent shopping. We recently took a trip to the beach and all got burnt. It was certainly an adventure. Tina Fey has made appearances while I've been working. Along with the cast of the Middle. I've heard of lots of others as well but, wasn't lucky enough to see them. The circus has been keeping me very busy but it has been a lot of fun. I don't think of my apartment as home more so as a storage unit because I am really only here to shower and sleep. My family came to visit me recently and it was positively wonderful! I quite enjoyed having them here! It is hard to believe that my program is more than half over already. Depending on what the next year looks like I may come back. I am not ready to be separated from all of the lovely friends I've made down here! Hopefully for the rest of my program I'll be a little better about writing about my adventure!

Life Since Rejection
So it has been a while since I have posted anything about my journey. Things have been crazy down here lately and I just haven't had the time to write. I can't think of what they have been busy with other than work and sleep, but they've been busy none the less.
So I was rejected at my audition to be a princess and that's alright. I've come to terms with the news and am ok with it. I accept that I do not look like a very famous cartoon. So I've returned to the circus and have carried on my life as a cirkie.
This past weekend was Valentine's Day and it was by far the single most fabulous weekend of my life. Now, my boyfriend always seems to go above and beyond and everyday I am with him is a special one. I know for some people Valentine's day is a big special holiday filled with love. But, for me everyday is like Valentine's day. Every day since October 13, 2013 has been filled with so much love and care. Every day my boyfriend shares how much he loves me and when we are fortunate enough to be in the same state together he spoils me rotten. So, I often forgot that he was in town for Valentine's day because every day with him is so wonderful. I was working Thursday night and the poor guy was supposed to sit at the airport for about 4.5 hours until I was able to get there and pick him up. But, I should have known that wasn't how things were really going to go. The sweetheart that he is melted his way into some very kind folks hearts who drove him the hour from the airport to the Magic Kingdom of Walt Disney World. He then melted some more hearts and had a crowd of Disney Cast Members chanting "Let him in!" till he finally got into the park! He then ran from the front of the park to the very back of the park where I work. He walked up behind me and goes "excuse me ma'am" I am still in shock that he was there. I was so filled with surprise and excitement that he was standing there in front of me! It was so incredible that he had managed to get all the way there. I honestly can't believe I didn't see it coming since it is so something he would do! None the less it was so wonderful to turn around and see his handsome face!
The next morning was our first Valentine's day together! We slept in and took it easy. We had desserts for breakfast and then headed to the mall and did some special shopping for sunglasses. It was such a blast. We had a positively delightful time picking out our new Oakley sunglasses (my first pair!) it was an afternoon filled with laughs. We then had a peaceful lunch on a taco restaurant located on a lake. Then the two of us got all dolled up for one of the most delicious meals of my life. We went to Roy's and had a beautiful and delicious four course meal that I enjoyed as left overs as well! It was fresh sea food flown in from Hawaii that morning. It was a completely wonderful day! To finish of our first Valentine's together we went to the Magic Kingdom. We watched Wishes and I of course cried. We rode a few rides and saw some of the sites. I took him to Mickey's Philharmagic and remember him laughing the whole time and genuinely enjoying the experience. It made the already enjoyable experience that much better! Seeing him enjoy the magic of Disney made it that much better.
The following day we slept in again and then headed off to Epcot. We spent a whole lot of time there and ate in lots of different countries. Morocco was probably our favorite we ate there twice that day. It was pretty darn good. We took our time and really enjoyed the day traveling the world together. We built a pretty Boss truck at Test Track that kicked some butt! We had hot chocolate and shared a chocolate croissant along the World Showcase lagoon as we awaited the Illuminations show to begin. It was a wonderful weekend and I was sad that it was ending the next day. We woke up and surprisingly got out the door on time. We met my roommates and had breakfast at our favorite place Keke's. Then it was sadly off the airport. And although we say goodbye often this one seemed harder than all the others. I was so sad to see him leave, but I know that everything will be ok and we will make it through our time apart just as we always do. Although I hated to see him go and am still sad that he's gone. It was a beautiful Valentine's weekend and the best one I have ever had.
It is currently 6 am and I have been home for about an hour. I worked until 3 am and then me and 6 of my coworkers headed to the local Denny's. It was a wonderful night of bonding. We shared stories and laughs. I was so grateful for the night out to make some memories. I needed a little fun and was glad that my coworkers were up to heading out together even though it was late and we had all just worked pretty hard. Eating Denny's at 4 am was not the best idea but the company certainly was and the memories are well worth the tummy ache.

At Least I Tried.
So yesterday was the big day! I woke up early and headed out to the auditions with a couple friends! Once there it was a lot of standing in line and waiting around. We got numbers to wear and they measured our height to make sure we were in the right height range. Then we were sent into a room in groups of 50 to be looked at and talked about by two cast members. They kept reminding us that we were all beautiful and not to change. They were "trying to cast real life people to look like very famous cartoons." So after about 10 mins they announced the one number they were going to keep and move on to the next round. So that was the end of my character audition. Out of 250 it appeared as if they had only kept roughly 10 girls. Pretty tough business to break into! So congrats to those that made it through! Although I may not be a Disney Princess at least I can say I tried!

You should be Belle
A few days ago my roommate and I went shopping at a store called Property Control it is a store that sells lots of special Disney Stuff. When we went to check out as usual the cast members working were an absolute delight. But, this cast member really made my day. She told me that I should audition to be a Character Performer. She told me that I would be a really good Belle. I've had people tell me before that I should be a character but, never has a cast member told me that. And there are auditions coming up next week. Debating if I should go or not. But it was a special Disney moment for me and has been on my mind lately. So I just thought I would share that part of my journey. Other than that there are not too many exciting things going on other than working in the Happiest place on earth.
